Home » Recommended Classic 'Car People'
Despite the occasional 'bad apples' you'll come
across in the classic car business, there are many good people that make classic
cars their business. Just as I'll be the first in line to tell my story about
how the Pronman brothers defrauded me out of $84,000, I'll be the first to
recommend those individuals and businesses that have done right by me.
These people include brokers who can locate rare
cars and help to negotiate a price to ensure both the buyer and seller are
treated fairly; experts that will examine the
stampings, castings, sheetmetal and paintwork of the investment you're about to
make; and restoration shops that will provide expert repairs and complete
high-quality restorations at a reasonable price.
It is important to note that the following
individuals and companies did not provide me with any incentives for inclusion
on this page. Each of them is listing here because I have been extremely pleased with their work, product and/or help,
or they came highly recommended from more than one enthusiast. There
is no specific order to the order in which they're listed.
In the future, as time permits, I will continue
to update this page with other suppliers and niche specialists.
Don't just take my recommendation. If you are
entertaining a business relationship with any of the individuals or companies
listed on this page, please perform your own due-diligence.
